For Clients

Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.-Mary Anne Radmacher

Clients can receive treatment to address a broad array of life stresses and psychological concerns.

Psychotherapy is a process of growth, healing, and change. One of my core beliefs is that people do the best that they can, given the context of their lives and the supports available to them. We work together to understand the world in which you live, your beliefs, behaviors, concerns, hopes, and desires.

With time, these explorations lead to changed perspectives, more choices, greater freedom and intentionality, more effective living, meaning and purpose, a fuller and richer life.

Although not limited to these areas, my interests are in working with individuals who are experiencing:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Posttraumatic stress
  • Substance addiction (Alcohol or other drugs)
  • Process addiction (e.g., spending, work, sex)
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Self-injury
  • Relationship concerns
  • Grief and loss
  • Life transitions
  • Issues with living with chronic illness
  • Challenges at home or in the workplace

I use a range of treatment options to respond to individuals’ and couples’ unique needs including:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT; CPT-C)
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT; for individuals)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Harm Reduction Therapy
Integrative Relational Psychotherapy
Mindfulness Oriented Interventions (e.g., Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy; Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention; Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement)
Seeking Safety
Twelve-Step Facilitation (TSF)

“Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of these things and still be calm in your heart.”Unknown
