Many people start therapy because of different aspirations, questions, and challenges — and perhaps a desire to feel better and hope that positive change is possible. I am an integrative psychotherapist who is experienced in working with a range of concerns and more.
For Clinicians & Organizations
I offer ongoing or as-needed clinical consultation and supervision. I also facilitate study and supervision groups and provide training and consultation for organizations.
All of us, by virtue of being alive, have deep interior resources for learning, growing, healing, and transformation that can be tapped, nurtured, and mobilized in the service of living a fuller and more optimal life on every level. Jon Kabat-Zinn
Growth. Identity. Change.
My clients and I work together to understand the world in which they live, their beliefs, relationships, behaviors, concerns, hopes, and desires. I work with people to support their increasing awareness and understanding, bringing a spirit of authenticity, collaboration, compassion, and responsiveness to our work together. Over the course of therapy you can feel more deeply; experiment with new behaviors or approaches to life; and better understand your thought patterns, beliefs, and values. Through this work you will be able to enhance your well-being and improve your quality of life. This process often changes perspectives, opening up more choices and solutions to current and long-standing challenges and concerns.

Feeling better (change) requires hard work and a willingness to be who you are. If something doesn’t challenge you, it is unlikely to change you. To learn more about getting the most out of psychotherapy, see this brief article by the Mayo Clinic.
